Stila convertible colours

Hey beautiful,

So today I am back with a beauty review post about the stila convertible colours. Now I own several things from the brand ‘stila’ and I have never been disappointed! Their packaging is so pretty and their products quality is literally amazing! Recently as summers started to creep up on us, I’ve been reaching for my three stila convertible colours.

A convertible colour is described as a ‘ dual Lip and cheek cream’ meaning it can be used as both blush and lipstick. I have three shades of this product all perfect for the summer months and they are tulip, peony and camellia. I have been loving these recently so thought I’d share the love with you guys today by giving you a summary of what this product is really like.

Firstly, when I first got them I couldn’t help but notice all three were names of flowers that appear in the spring and summer times. I thought this was a clever idea as it indicates what season the blush/ lipstick should be worn in.

Before trying this product, I expected it to be really bright and not very blendable because of the cream formula. Before these I’d never really used brightish colours for my cheeks so here I was stepping outside my comfort zone.

The packaging was really smartly made. The writing and product description was clear and readable and there was an easy to open clasp but what I really liked was the colour choices. The overall colour of each products packaging was the shade of the blush. That way you could see what the colour was like if it was all sealed up and you could get a little taste of what it was like. The gold writing was a nice touch as it worked nicely with all the packaging colours and was very clear to read. I also liked the idea of having a small mirror on the inside of each one. I mean the mirrors not huge but neithers the product and stila obviously tried to make the mirror as big as they could. This is just generally a good idea if your out and about and need to retouch your makeup on the go.

Now I’ll just go through the blushes I got one by one.

Tulip:

Now this one was the darkest out of the three by far. It’s actually quite a dark pink shade suitable for summer/ autumn months as it is quite dark. If you look carefully there are also hints of dark purple and red in this. It’s seriously pretty!

Peony-

Now peony is the light purple/ baby pink shade of the three. I tried to pick three completely different shades so I could really get a feel for the product itself. This is absolutely perfect for spring/ summer months as it’s practically a light, pastel shade like the flower itself. When applied although the product looks purple, undertones of pink show through and it looks stunning!

Camellia-

Now this is the last of the three and probably my favourite! Camellia is firstly such a pretty name and it’s more of a peachy pink shade. There are undertones of brown and orange which make it really neutral and suitable for both cheeks and lips. Again this is ideal for spring/ summer months and I love this so much!

Overall, the formula of these blushes/lipsticks are insane! They are easy to apply and quick to blend leaving a nice subtle colours on the apples of your cheeks. They last for ages throughout the day without you having to apply more every few hours and give a healthy glow to your skin leaving a nice, dewy finish. They are £16 each and in my opinion definitely worth the money if you want a high quality product. They come in 14 different shade and are available from several places including:

www.stila.com

www.boots.com

And several other makeup stores near you.

So that’s the end of the post today guys, I hope you enjoyed it and I helped you make the desicion if this product is worth it or not.

Until next time

Peace ✌ ☁

June favourites

Hello gorgeous,

Today I’m back with a general sort of post. Now I always see bloggers and youtubers do a monthly favourites post when it comes to the end of each month. I personally love the concept as it helps others around you discover new products. So I thought I’d share will you all my favourites for the month of June as it’s quickly coming to an end and who knows you might discover something amazing!
Beauty-
So I’m going to Start off with beauty products. I’ve been loving quite a few things this month and found it hard to narrow it down to just a couple but these items really are at the top of their game. They are all part of my daily makeup routine because I love them so much and really add to my makeup look.

These are the five products. The rimmel London match perfection foundation,  the maybelline master sculpt stick, the real techniques brow brush, the w7 in the nude palette and the mua lipstick in shade 11.

Rimmel match perfection foundation-

Now recently I’ve been going more full on with makeup as I’m starting to get older and more mature. Originally foundation wasn’t part of my everyday makeup routine but now it plays an important role in making my skin have a healthy glow. When I first went to pick one I had no idea what to get but when I saw the reviews for this it grabbed my attention right away. This has medium coverage and comes in a range of shades. Mines in the shade ‘010 light porcelain’.

W7 in the nude palette-

I’ve always been absolutely desperate to get my hands on a urban decay naked palette but a few months ago, I was in my local tkmaxx store and I found this palette which looked practically identical. After switching the colours I bought it straight away for the price of £4.99. There are twelve amazingly pigmented shades which I use all of. I love this palette to pieces!

Real techniques brow brush –

Now I’ve never been one to have ‘the perfect instagram eyebrows’.  Everytime I pop into my makeup shop,I desperately buy new products for my eyebrows in the hope that I’ll be able to get them to look as I want them to. However my eyebrows refuse to do that. Being so shapeless and sparse I really struggle but this brush is really useful for helping to shape them. It’s so small and intricate that now I’m gradually starting to get somewhere with my eyebrows thanks to this

Maybelline master contour stick-

Have you ever got the perfect cheekbones? Not many people do but now with maybellines new initiative,  everyone can have just that! It comes with two sides. One for highlight and one for contour both cream based and really blendable. They apply and blend into the skin like a dream. This is avaliable in two shades ‘light’ and ‘dark’.

Mua lipstick in ‘shade 11’

Now this is my final beauty favourite of the month. Recently, I ran out of my favourite lipstick which I use everyday for school which is the mac matte lipstick in ‘velevet teddy’. Since then I have been on the hunt for a cheaper alternative that looks similar as I don’t really want to spend that much money right now then I found this. It is practically the same shade really longwearing and only cost me a pound.  I love this!

Other favourites-

Onto other things I’ve been loving this month other than beauty products. Recently I got a pink camouflage cap from new look and I absolutely love it! It keeps the sun out of my eyes and I also think I look rather cool wearing it too.

On youtube at the moment I’ve been loving two channels in particular.  The first one is called hacks videoz-4whenugrowup. Now not many people would have heard of this and it’s a family that vlog their holidays to Disney world florida. I’m addicted to this at the moment as in the summer, I’m going on holiday to florida so this is really getting me excited and pumped for then.

The other youtube pick is the channel lovevie. Now evies a smaller youtuber and has around 40k subscribers but the time, effort and ideas in her videos are amazing! Her editing is literally goals I can’t even describe how amazing it is!

For blogs I’ve been loving two. They are www.abbieinwonderland.com and www.thebeautyacct2016.wordpress.com.  Both of their content is amazing and the effort they put in is unbelievable. I love you both.

My final favourite of the month is Shawn mendes song ‘imagination’.  This is a really deep romantic song and has a special place in my heart. It’s so catchy and I always find myself singing this as I can never seem to get it out of my head.
So thats the end of todays post lovely I hope you enjoyed it and I helped you discover some new things. What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments below.

Peace out

Lily ✌
